Workshops EWORA and ITU DF School Beylerbeyi Campus
1.WORKSHOP
Name: Let’s Look Through the Microscope to Sea Life
Content: The importance of the seas in terms of the causes of marine pollution, the human factor, the sustainability of natural resources and the future of life is emphasized. Students are asked to make some preparations and observe them so that marine creatures in different seawater samples can be examined under a microscope.
Participant Group : Seventh Grade / 12.10-12.50
- WORKSHOP
Name: Exploring Simple Machine

Participant Group : Fifth Grade / 09.30-10.10
- WORKSHOP
Name: Let’s Create a Bridge: Leonardo Da Vinci
Content: Students are asked to transform the concepts of “Mass and Weight”, a Science subject, and “Ratio and Proportion”, a Mathematics subject, into products through Computer Science, rather than remaining at a theoretical level.
Participant Group : Fifth Grade / 10.10-10.40
- WORKSHOP
Name: Mass and Weight in Informatics ScienceÇ
Content: Students are asked to transform the concepts of “Mass and Weight”, a Science subject, and “Ratio and Proportion”, a Mathematics subject, into products through Computer Science, rather than remaining at a theoretical level.
Participant Group : Sixth Grade / 11.15-12.50
- WORKSHOP
Name: History Come to Life! Anatolian and Mesopotamian Civilizations
Content: History begins with writing. Writing, in its most general definition, is a tool that allows the sounds coming out of the mouth, and therefore words, to be recorded by shaping them into visible and sometimes touchable signs, without the help of ears or gestures. Students are asked to create cuneiform models, invented by the Sumerians in 3200 BC, used by Anatolian and Mesopotamian civilizations, on ceramic clay. With this workshop, it is aimed for our students to understand the history and culture of civilizations, create products and exhibit their products.
Participant Group : Fifth Grade / 14.30-15.10
- WORKSHOP
Name: Let’s Mobilize DNA with Gel Electrophoresis
Content: Application of horizontal gel electrophoresis of DNA and explanation of the gel electrophoresis mechanism.
Participant Group : Eighth Grade / 09.30-10.30
