The faces of the women scientists of the ancient Mediterranean will be: 1) Hypatia who was a scientist, astronomer and philosopher in Alexandria of Egypt in the fifth century AD. ; 2) Aglaonice the first female astronomy scholar who lived in Greece in the region of Thessaly in an uncertain era between the 4th and 1st centuries B.C.; 3) Teano, philosopher of Crotone, one of the 29 pupils of Pythagoras; 4) Agnodice, the first doctor and midwife of Athens; 5) Maria of Alexandria philosopher and alchemist, who lived in Alexandria of Egypt between the 1st and 3rd century AD.
