Discover how a particle accelerator works

The aim of the workshop of the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC) is to explain and demonstrate how a particle accelerator works. It will also explain how they are designed, where the largest are, what they are used for and why they have the shape they have. We will have “toy accelerators” to show live and live their operation. They will be very simple models that will help us to have a fun, educational and interactive workshop for audiences of all ages.
